The site is offering a $10 per head reward for any name included on the People Alive Over 85 list whose status is out of date for more than 3 days. Status means whether they are dead or alive. In this case that means if you find a person included on this list who is dead and has been for more than three days then you're entitled to the reward.
Only one reward per name will be awarded. To collect the prize you must be the first person to provide legitimate proof that the person passed away before May. 13, 2008. Recollections, memories, rumors, and stories handed down from Aunt Edna don't count. Newspaper articles, online stories from legitimate publications, reliable reference works such as the Encyclopedia Britannica, officially issued death certificates, pictures of graves, and other reliable sources do count.
The burden is on you to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt. All decisions regarding the awarding of any reward will be made by the editor of this site and will be final. You can use the Comment link at the top to submit your information.
If the only proof you have is that you remember it, please do some research and get some facts to confirm your memory. You can start with a quick Google search. Try typing the person's name followed by the word 'died'. If you don't see anything pertinent on that first results page, the chances are overwhelming that you are mistaken.
