You can construct a search using any or all of the boxes above. If you're just looking for a particular name, type it in the name/word box and click the Search button.
If you are just looking for certain dates of birth or death, just use those boxes. For instance, to find people who died in April 1993, choose April in the appropriate Month box, type 1993 in the appropriate Year box, and then click Search.
If you are looking for people who died at a certain age or are alive and are a certain age fill in the appropriate box and click Search.
Or you may use any combination of the boxes. Here are some examples: 1) Type Robert in the Name/Word box and 1942 in the Year Born box to find anyone named Robert born in 1942. 2) Type music in the Name/Word box and 27 in the Died at age box to find everyone in the music field who died at age 27. 3) Type 1928 in the Year Born box and 62 in the Died at age box to find everyone born in 1928 who died at age 62. 4) Type Mary in the Name/Word box and 65 in the Current age box to find everyone named Mary who is currently 65 years old.
Here's an additional hint - if you want to search for an entire decade, say the 1980s, type 198* in the Year box. That will find any year beginning with 198. Or, for instance, by typing 3* in the Died at Age box you will find everyone who died in their 30s.
You can also find a specified range of ages by using a hyphen. For instance, to find everyone in the list who died between the ages of 62 and 64, type 62-64 in the Died at Age box.
